Solo Mail Information & Order Form


If you are reading the information contained on this page, you have expressed an interest in pursuing a solo mail (aka "direct mail") project with Imagine Advertising. First and foremost, thank you for the opportunity!

All the requisite information fields are listed below, but first, we would like to explain our process.

All of Imagine's solo mail pricing is listed at what are known as "saturation rates," meaning the mail will go to all of the households within a specified geographic area (full zip codes and/or sub-zip codes, or a combination of the two). These are not name- and/or household-specific rates, but they enjoy the lower postage costs because of the fact that the mailed pieces will go into every home.

Imagine does offer more targeted solo mail, but at a higher cost-per-piece (owing mostly to higher postage costs, although a list purchase may be included as well, depending on client needs or requests). Should you wish to either supply us with your own list, or have us secure a particular demographic, please let your Account Coordinator know - and they will be glad to help you.

Imagine offers four common solo mail formats: (1) Standard Postcard (5.5" x 11"); (2) Jumbo Postcard (10" x 14"); (3) Trifold (11" x 17"); and (4) Letter (8.5" x 11") in a Stock Envelope. There are other formats available (please inquire if interested), but these are the 4 most common. Each of these require a Set-up Fee ($159.00 for the standard postcard, trifold, and letter w/ envelope; $199.00 for the jumbo postcard), and each is priced per-piece (44 cents each for the standard postcard, trifold, and letter w/ envelope; 54 cents each for the jumbo postcard). For mailing to customer-specific lists, please add 10 cents-per-piece for the standard postcard, trifold, and letter w/ envelope; add 20 cents-per-piece for the jumbo postcard.

Imagine requests that your solo mail order be submitted at least 30 days in advance of your desired in-home date; this will allow sufficient time to select the mailing areas, as well as complete the creative aspects of the project. All finalized artwork must be signed off no later than 14 days before your desired in-home date, or else risk the possibility of having your mail arrive in consumer mailboxes late. The post office does not guarantee a specific delivery date, but we often place a requested 3-day window on the actual printed piece, so that the local post office is aware of your request (an example would be: "Postmaster, Please Place in Mailbox Dec 12-14"). Please make sure to select your targeted 3-day window below.

As there is no credit granted by our friends at U.S.P.S., all solo mail projects are 100% pre-pay. The form below asks you fill in all required fields, including a valid Credit Card, along with expiration date and CVV. Please note: your card will not be charged unless and until: (a) you have given us your "okay to print"; (b) targeted geographies and desired in-home dates have been decided on; and (c) you have received an invoice that you agree is correct and thus provide us with the "okay to charge my card."
